As a member of the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photography) I have had the pleasure of meeting many amazing photographers and seeing their work has inspired me to work harder and aim to qualify with the society. At the then of April I submitted a panel of 20 images to the Mentor Me program. The idea of Mentor Me is to enable photographers to have a selection of their work assessed by a panel who in turn will provide a critique with recommendations for further development. On occasion, the judging panel find the images submitted already meet the qualifying criteria for the Licentiate and the photographer is awarded their Licentiate qualification.
My panel was centered on Pet Photography and my aim was to spend my recovery time working on the panels recommendations. So imagine how shocked I was to discover that I had been awarded my Licentiate qualification!
I feel so proud and honored to have achieved this qualification and look forward now to getting back on my feet and back to my photography.
The panel images are displayed below.
